Heaven rejoices and earth is blessed when someone looks to you in their weakness and finds the strength of the Lord.
In fact, when you commit your way to the Lord and trust in Him, He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and the justice of your cause like the noonday sun (Psalm 37:5-6). They are seeing God in you.
Though the devil distracts with sin and weakens with discouragement, “the eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
God is ever looking to empower you for the fight. And that he does when you are dedicated to doing his will.
When your heart is strong in the Lord, mountains are moved. Mountains of guilt, mountains of regret, and mountains of excuses. Though Moses, when called by God to serve, listed his inadequacies, God provided all he needed for the job before him (Exodus 3-4).
God provides you too with all you need to serve Him. “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
You must not be like Moses, who though having received all he needed for his Ministry of Deliverance, told God, “O Lord, please send someone else to do it” (Exodus 4:13). Moses went about God’s business, but not before seeing the anger of the Lord.
You must never forget that it is the strength which God supplies that sustains you. It is a glorious gift to be shared in your work for Jesus.
“Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
